Dr Deepak R is an Orthopedic surgeon specialized in Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine at PEOPLE TREE Hospitals, Bangalore. He specializes in the management of sports related knee and shoulder injuries and his special interest in arthroscopic reconstruction of knee ligament injuries. He is also a key member of the Orthopedics team in upper and lower limb fracture fixations.
Dr Deepak is a member of Asia Pacific Orthopedic Association and recently was awarded the travel grant to APOA Sports meeting held in Kuala Lumpur where he presented his research papers from PEOPLE TREE Hospitals. He is also a member of Indian Orthopedic Association, Karnataka Orthopedic Association and Bangalore Orthopedic Society.
He pursued his 3 year DNB Orthopedics program at an institute of repute, Ganga Hospital Coimbatore and then completed his speciality training as a fellow in Arthroscopy and Sports medicine in Bangalore. He currently works as a team with Dr Srikanth K P, lead sports surgeon and limb reconstruction specialist at PEOPLE TREE Hospitals.
