Prof. Kupeli was born in Ankara/Turkey in 1975. She received her Medical degree in 1998 and completed her pulmonary fellowship in 2003. She received additional training in Interventional Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio, USA (2000-2001). Currently she holds a position of a Staff Physician at an university hospital in Pulmonary Diseases Department and she is the leader staff of Lung Transplantation in Pulmonary Department. She became an associate Professor in 2012 and a Professor in 2018. She has the European Diploma for Adult Respratory Medicine. She is also an FCCP (Fellow of the American Collage of Chest Phycians). She is a member of Turkish Respiratory Society, Turkish Sleep Medicine Society, American Collage of Chest Physicians, World Association of Bronchology. Her main interests include Diagnostic and Therapeutic Brocnhoscopy, Lung Transplantation and Sleep Disorders and she has published substantially on these subjects.
