Dr Rochak Varma is a Nephrologist based in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. He is an expert in dealing with Acute and Chronic Kidney Disease, Blood Pressure management, Fluid and Electrolyte Issues, Acid Base Disorders, Post Kidney Transplant care and Kidney Stone Prevention. He performs Dialysis on patients with Acute and Chronic Kidney Failure. He is a member of the American Society of Nephrology.
Dr Varma did his under graduation in year 2000 from the prestigious Topiwala National Medical College and B.Y.L Nair Charitable Hospital. He subsequently went on to do double Postgraduation in Internal Medicine from the renowned Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi in year 2004 and New York Medical College, Metropolitan Campus in year 2011. He then completed a Fellowship in Nephrology in 2013 again from New York Medical College, Metropolitan Campus. He has also passed the Member of Royal College of Physician examination Part 1 and Part 2. He also passed with a Distinction in Biochemistry during his Undergraduate Training.
Dr Varma has worked in diverse institutions -Government, Private Charity and Corporate Hospitals in both in India and United States of America. He has immense clinical experience in both Internal Medicine and Nephrology and has been in practice for 18 years. He has Special Interest in managing Glomerular Disease and Cystic Kidney Disease including Adult Polycystic Kidney Disease. He also has a keen interest in managing challenging cases of Electrolyte Disorders especially Hyponatremia (Low blood sodium) and Hypokalemia (Low Blood Potassium ).
